Islay Rugby Club would like to thank all participants in the 2009 Islay Beach Rugby tournament. Once again we  had a hard fought competition where the quality of the play seems to get better with each year.

There were around 2000 people at the event an enthusiastic gathering of rugby fans, islanders, families, visitors and players.  I hope you all enjoyed yourselves in this celebration of rugby - we certainly enjoyed having you over and look forward to seeing you again next year on Saturday 12th June.
