The Islay ferry leaves from Kennacraig, Tarbert, Argyll. The crossing is approximately two hours.
The best ferries to get are the 1300 or 1800 on the Friday, both of which will now arrive at Port Ellen (note: their timetable will state Port Askaig but they have very kindly agreed to divert them to Port Ellen). The 0945 Saturday morning sailing will get you here in time (just!) for the tournament. That ferry berths in Port Ellen, only five minute’s walk from The White Hart Beach.

Please note: some ferries arrive/depart from Port Askaig, 12 miles from Port Ellen, so make sure you check the port.
